ROARING IN from the steppes, the taiga and the tundra of Siberia, by way of the Caucusus, Persia, Turkey, the Middle East and The Balkans, playing music of the people for the people, loudly, come:

The Tundrastic!!

The Steppmatic!!!!!

The Taiga - Taiga burning brightly!!!!!!

TRANS-SIBERIAN MARCH BAND!!!!!

MMmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

We play Balkan ska, klezmer reggae-Russo-Mexican trumpet tunes, Afghan love songs and Ottoman battle marches (we said what?).

So, since escaping the kitchens we have been hiding in Europe. We have been fortunate to play many gigs, in many places. Some highlights must be an underground biker's bar in Sarejevo, Glastonbury festival, London's Cargo club, Vienna Central Park, and Liverpool Street Station as part of the 70th anniversary of Kinderstransport.

Summer of 2009 holds many more exciting places for us to play, including Lovebox and Secret Garden festivals and another Balkan tour of Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro. We play pubs, weddings, clubs, parties, bar mitzvahs, bandstands, state funerals / assassinations and festivals.

What do people say?
